Connaught Hall is a fully catered intercollegiate hall of residence
of the University of London.

Warden: Dr Adrian Clark MBBS MRCEM | Hall Manager: Alice Coote-Cowling

Welcome from the Warden

Welcome to Connaught Hall! We are a fully catered University of London intercollegiate hall of residence for full-time students from all the colleges and institutes of the University. We aim to provide a warm and welcoming “home from home”: a secure, supportive, friendly, and tolerant environment in which our residents can study, relax, and socialise.

The Hall Manager looks after the building and facilities staff; as the Warden, I look after the people inside the building.

Many residents are experiencing life away from home for the first time; for some, home is on the other side of the world. We hope all our residents will come to call Connaught Hall “home” and that take many positive memories and good friends with them when they leave. We aim to promote a spirit of neighbourliness and togetherness in our Hall community, and encourage self-directed, responsible behaviour.

Because we are an intercollegiate hall, our residents attend different colleges which have different term dates. However, everyone's accommodation contract is a standard length and starts on the same Sunday in September. So we hope you will join us from the beginning of your contract to take full advantage of our welcome events and freshers' programme.

If you are a resident or a prospective resident at Connaught Hall, all the staff wish you an enjoyable and successful time here. We always enjoy meeting you and encourage you to contact us if you have any questions.

If you are visiting this site because you are thinking of putting Connaught Hall on your accommodation application, please take some time to browse our site and feel free to ask us any questions you have. Whatever your reason for visiting us today, we hope you find our site helpful, informative, and easy to use.
